They are a bit sore on potatoes, and not very fastHi thanks for reading my message I think a bager model might suit us
Hi I know exactly what you mean. Something I had not thought of , but for our small potato harvest I would still like to try one. Thanks for the information. You will need to practice with a sweeping brush. Place brush head on floor then place both hands on top of brush handle. Then place head on hands and whilst keeping brush head on the ground keep walking around the brush in a clockwise direction.
Do this for 5 minutes and you will have passed your training to become a 711 potato harvester operator.
Spent many hours in my youth picking spuds off one and could never walk in a straight line after looking at the table going round in circles.Hi I know exactly what you mean. Something I had not thought of , but for our small potato harvest I would still like to try one. Thanks for the information.
Would you consider selling one or both of themBit slow, not that good to pull if wet, to much damage to spuds compared with anything else, not thd best for pickers with table revolving, needs 3 single acting
spools on tractor if bulker, need a spool for each wheel to control the depth and best if both can be used together to lift the machine at each end, pickers don't like it lifting one side at a time then the other side., and a 3rd spool for the bulker elevator lift and drop,
You can make a bulker into a bagger, but not a bagger into a bulker, as there is no drive shaft out of gearbox on a bagger to drive the elevator,
Parts are non existing for them now, and bit of a historic machine to say the least,
Have both a bagger and bulker here in the nettle shed, going to make 1 out of the 2 for showing, I never want to drive or pick off one ever again.
If you have not not many 1 or 2 acres, and want a harvester get a faun or similar,
Or just pick them off the ground behind an elevator digger
No, sorryWould you consider selling one or both of them
Would it be for sale? I've got a bagger one I use and would be much handier with an elevatorThink ive a side elivator for one in the nettles
Most bagger 711 harvesters do not have the shaft out of the back of gearbox to drive the elevator.Would it be for sale? I've got a bagger one I use and would be much handier with an elevator
Could always stick a hydraulic motor on it, sure I could find a way round itMost bagger 711 harvesters do not have the shaft out of the back of gearbox to drive the elevator.
So check that before buying an elevator as it won't fit
It would be a lot of driving alongside though before you had a trailer filledCould always stick a hydraulic motor on it, sure I could find a way round it
