Demo'd one late last year and loved it!

Would have had it if the deal and warranty had been better.. Dealer was trying hard but spec for spec and price it couldn't compete with new Holland

I like ours, it's a great tractor although we have had 2 issues.
Electric spool problems (spool would just switch off on its own, which was a major issue when it runs the fan on the drill!). This has been sorted.
Throttle problems. It randomly revs to flat out or drops to tick over on its own. Dealers have swapped a few things, but not yet rectified.

We have a MF 7618 has cost the most money to run of any tractor we have every had over 30 K in 3 years in repairs , would never have another one & the Back up from MF not the dealer is very poor

If you don't mind me asking why are you asking for opinions on a tractor that you have already bought?
Just querying to see what others opinions are. Have heard a few bad reports about the 7618 and mf men are saying the 7718 are much better good pulling tractor.

Now now dont get your knickers in a twist! Its called humour :banghead::facepalm:

A mate has one. He had a 7618 dyna6 and really liked it, chopped it in for a 7718 vario and reckons this one is a different class. Bags of grunt, better laid out cab and more refined. What do you think of yours @MF7718
So far so good, definitely notice the extra power from the 6480. Only have put 100 hours on so far so she really hasn't opened out yet.

Have spent the last 5 days ploughing with a 7718 dyna six, good tractor but the gearbox takes some getting used to.
My own tractors a 6616 vario and have to say the four pot hangs in better but that could just be the gearbox doing it's work, both great machines though.
