Hi, I am currently looking at a 8925 xtra. The handler is blowing the seal between the 2 hydraulic pumps out, will try to get a photo, would this be an internal leak in the main hydraulic pump? Thanks for any help. The oring would be in between the charge pump and the high pressure pump of no.1 in the diagram.

Won’t be much pressure in the charge pump. 300-350. The seal between the two might not be installed the correct way around? If this has happened before check with gauges that the pressures are correct on both pump. After reading your post again get the pump off and resell the main pump. That o ring won’t be much more than a low pressure seal to stop oil dripping not the main seal to retain pressures

Haven’t had a chance to get the pump off yet, does the cab need removing? It looks to be in a bad place, could it be a relief valve not blowing off? It blows the seal when you work the boom
