Is there something remarkable about this? It's been done dozens of times before by all sorts of vehicles including tractors.

Ed from Tuakau drove a Fergie to the South Pole back in 1958 Sisu engines would need no modifications at those temperatures either

Think they ran on paraffin the first time. Half track fergies that time. One of them was on display in the museum at banner lane. I seen it twice

naaa in the main museum along with other things brought back from the ice ..Antarctic center is cool tho the wind chill room is realy cool HAHAHA thin t shirt in there someone could lose an eye

She did something similar before on a old deutz 06, drove it too africa i believe but already stranded in belgium

Ffs simple solution for that ,nothing a passport fer you , Farmers Little Wife and Multi power jr with one way tickets can't fix

I know when my dad was down there they were running most stuph on jet fuel as it could take the cold better. Next time I see him I'll try and get copies if some of his pictures if anyone would like to see them

They should have taken ROPS tractors as that would have been more authentic and true to the original trek to the South Pole like Ed did, cabed tractors
