Anyone know about Massey Ferguson Dyna 6, 3rd Range GBA 15 mechanical gearbox syncro slipping through selector rail not engaging all the time modification

The syncro normally worn out bearing gone on t gear on shaft or a boring failed on shifter , the range switches are quite poor and fail regularly but normally they will throw a error code

I had heard that there mite be a modification used in England on long wheel based 7600/7700 that where having 3 gear synchro problems to the cast housing where the selector rail comes through. By drilling out the holes and putting a different sized o ring in. I wonted to see if this is really a thing.

Never heard of that one there was never a issue in the rail of all the ones I've done it quite rare for the syncro to fail on it's own normally bearing starts to go and puts too much load on syncro rare for a 40km to go but common on 50k
