Anybody used one, got one, any good?
Just looked at a low hours M F out front zero turn mower and wondered if they were any good especially the cutter deck, it’s a 3 blade mulch deck but with the middle blade behind the two outer blades. Never seen this setup before and wondered why/what problems this arrangement might bring?
Mower is badged M F but made by MTD. but can’t find it in their model list. Itwill have to cut some roadsides as well as the lawns, will the blade setup prove a problem.

I have an Iseki and a Yanmar both with the three blade one in front design you describe.
It is a good system which avoids having expensive toothed belts to time the twin rotors to avoid the blades making contact with each other.

This one has the single blade BEHIND the two outer blades, not seen another setup like it

It has MTD on it but seen a cub cadet with the same chassis.
Anyway gone off it now, seems that the steering system is horrendously expensive if it fails, all timed through gearboxes to each wheel.
