I’ve a MF 6718S VT 2020 tier 5 here in Northern Ireland- when I put the sprayer on it that works off the load sensing it turns the front suspension off and makes the suspension light flash and the only way to reset it is to hold the suspension button while raising or lowering the sprayer boom - any ideas

Have you spoken to the dealer for either the tractor or sprayer??
Have the 2 been used together before without fault and it's just developed?? Have you had anything else connected to the tractor hydraulics and been ok. Does the sprayer work OK on another tractor??

I did have something a bit similar with my 6470. When using the straw bedder in constant pumping, the suspension would seemingly randomly go off and put the light on. I think it was caused by the valve wanting to lift/lower the axle but not getting oil pressure to do so.

In the end I disconnected the suspension ECU at the front of the rad, and connected the suspension solenoid and the ignition live in the plug, as well as connecting the road/field wires to the up/down. It worked, but I could only get the up/down to work when the constant pumping spool was centred. I think this confirmed that the lack of oil was the issue.

In your case I reckon the LS should avoid that, but maybe either your sprayer isn't telling the pump of de-stroke, or there's a faulty shuttle valve somewhere in the LS lines.

Sprayer and suspension works perfect on a 6713S dyna 6 and also perfect on a 7S210 dyna vt which essentially is the same back end as the 6718S only with a bigger hyd pump 190 litres compared to 110 🤷‍♂️
