It was an idea to make cost cheaper and use a tractor, i dont think it went into production, after all people buy self propelled sprayers when a tractor can very easily be used.

Seeing as it is really 2 combines, that is stuff of nightmares having run one

My parents used a trailed IH bagger combine till 1974, I think it was a late 50's or early 60's machine, so obsolete the day it was made. It did work.

I used to think similar with 8 foot cut & a hopper would suit remote areas for farmers growing feed crops & wanting the straw. Open up down the tramlines using row crop tyres. Row up the straw to bale.
