In 1952, the cast iron frame was replaced with a welded steel frame
The original engine was too expensive abroad and was therefore replaced with the newer French Simca 8 engine.

In 1952, the 812 model came with the same engine but the throttle has been moved up on the steering column

811 had throttle lever on the right side near the battery,
both have air intake up through the bonnet.

The air intake no longer passes through the bonnet. But has been moved near the radiator to counteract icing.
Here also came the option of 5 + 1 gearbox.
All models are with manual lift
There can be 1 lift handle on the right side to operate the lift.
Or there may be handles on both sides of the tractor to lift each side of the lift separately.
Characteristic of the 811/812 is the distance from the steering colum to the tank where a small tool box may be built-in.
In the spring of 1957 (the same year that Ferguson came in) the 820 model came with a new engine, gearbox and lift.
It was available with either the newer Simca 9, a Peugeot 203 1.3ltr 20HP water cooled
or the Hanomag D621 - 18HP 2cyl 1.0ltr 2-stroke Diesel.
There was also a choice between manual or hydraulic lift.
all came with 5 gears.
The fuel tank has been moved back to the steering column and has been changed to a 30ltr tank
where 811/812 had a 26ltr tank.
In 1959, the now Massey Ferguson company replaced the 820 model with the 821 also called the 21
It came with differential lock and option to get independent PTO.
It was also available with 3 point hitch.
The bonnet could tilt. and the steering column is now completely encapsulated along with the tank and bonnet.
an 821 is somewhat reminiscent of the ferguson 26 but is still built on the frame.
The later models are also seen with gray rims where Massey Harris always had yellow rims.
Are there anyone who can add / correct something. You would be very welcome to do so.

I do not know if anyone can use it for anything. But after being out and about, looking for an MHP a few different places.
It seems to me that people may be a little in unsure what exactly they own. And I have not been able to figure it out myself.
The 21 or 821 is offered with the Hanomag two-cylinder engine practically identical to that of the 820.
It has an output of 20 hp at 1850 rpm.
A few remarks on this engine.
The engine with the same number of revolutions develops twice as many engine times with its two strokes than with four strokes, resulting in greater regularity of operation. This is achieved by bringing in the scavenging pump which blows the fresh air into the chamber while expelling the burnt gases. This blower is fragile and its lifespan is shorter than that. of the motor.
The exhaust is quite noisy.
Once heated with its candles it starts very well even in cold weather.
