Hello
So ive got round to starting to look at the 65.
Its a mark 1.
Does anyone have either en engine manual, or the torques and other various settings for it please? (A4.192 engine)

Ive undone all the head bolts but it wont budge - i assume its stuck on the head bolts?

Where do people recoemend for spares? it needs an engine overhaul and some front axle bits doing to it to start with.

thanks.

For spares I would speak to Diperk, with the engine serial they will provide original Perkins parts that are not very dear and will fit. Failing that Bepco engine parts are usually good quality. Personally I would purchase a proper workshop manual for the friends of Ferguson heritage, they are worth their weight.

Hello, back again
Ive had the fuel pump overhauled.7I have installed it and timed it up according to the manual.
However, to get the pump timed near the mark on the circlip (its still not perfect), its at the extreme end of its travel on the pump mounting bolts and the extreme end of the travel on the timing gear slots.

Can somoen advise how to check the timing via the "spill method" as maybe (just maybe) the circlip is on in the wrong place.

Sorry this seems a bit vague, but i think for those that know, they will understand! IMG_20220402_092117.jpgIMG_20220402_100120.jpgIMG_20220402_093507.jpg

thank you

Should the fuel pump not be letter G that lines up, not C I could be wrong there though that might be the 23c I'm referring too,

Double check you timing gears pops are on a tooth - in-between a tooth
Just check your not 1 tooth out I'm not doubting your work but it can be easily toothed out.
