Massy Fergie 6170 low pressure warning fault

Hi I hope someone can help. I bought a massy 6170 6 weeks ago and everything was going fine until 2 weeks ago, I was using it on the tipping trailer when I was mucking out. Was going great until the third and last load I gave my young nephew a shot but he stalled it twice in a row 3rd time lucky and I jumped in a knee straight away there was a problem, the big red triangle light was on along with the oil pressure warning light, 4wd light and in D range light. i now know that that’s the default for any problem. The tractor still drives but stuck in 4wd and D range. I’m just stumped to how stalling it could have caused this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don’t know the right answer for this but personally I’d try disconnecting the battery for an hour or two (over night) and see if that resets things(y)

its the low pressure light that is causing it all . if it has a new type sensor it has a stupid connector that can come off just check it . its on the right hand side cover in front of the oil filter

It’s just a minefield apparently 🙄 I left the battery disconnected overnight to no avail. I might try ordering a new sensor.

I tried linking out the sensor with a wire but the lights still came on. It’s really starting to bug me now! Should I just replace the sensor? Any other ideas? Thanks

I had similar issue before with a 6265 open centre hydraulics, different model but same transmission so this should be relevant. If you have an open centre hydraulics the sensor number is 4358647m3, if it closed centre hydraulics the part number is 4358648M3. I checked the pressure at the switch and was getting 16 bar so replaced the switch with a closed centre sensor and the light was on all the time,I fitted a closed centre switch and the warning light wouldn't go out, changed it for the open centre switch and been fine since. If that switch is not working the transmission will default to D on dynashift which is the dynashift solenoid bank de-energised position.

Same 17 bar switch on open and closed centre hydraulics, it has a red plastic ring on it. On closed center hyd there is also a 5 bar switch, it has a green plastic ring.
