Matbro tr200 cab removal

Hi all,

We have a matbro tr200 Telehandler and home, used on a horticultural business to unload lorries / move trees etc.

I have noticed recently the cab is staring to get very rusty, and I don't want it to get past the point of. O repair. Ideally I'd like to remove the cab, have it shot blasted then fix and paint what's left.

My questions are

1. How hard is it to remove the cab - has anyone done this before and could provide any pointers

2. How hard would it be to remove the cab but still be able to drive and use the loader while the work is being done? ( Only used for 1 hr or so every few days to unload lorries, and dry stores every night so no issues there)

Thanks in advance

not too bad to remove cab but driving it with cab off is a no go!

Now Then..
As mentioned, cab removal is pretty easy, you'll need a vertical lift truck or similar rather than a radial arm machine to lift it. The controls, steering, brakes, joystick etc are all fitted to the bit you're lifting off!!
