Our poor old Matbro is feeling her age, other than the usual oil leaks etc today it has lost hydraulic pressure and become even slower than usual. I have a nasty suspicion that the pump is past its best. I have found that although not in stock it can be obtained from White House products for a relatively reasonable £1000 ish. My plan will be to repair the Matbro and stand it down to a more part time role. My quandary is what to replace it with. We don’t want to spend 60+k and aren’t fussed about it being too shiny. I just want a reliable pivot steer telescopic loader with preferably less than 6000 hours. We have a JCB dealer relatively close and obviously being in France Manitou are popular (but pivot steer is very rare) also a Deici dealer in the department but doubt a second hand one would be available and new is out of our sensible new price range. I liked the John Deere 3800 when they were made but I guess they are now nearly as ancient as my old Matbro. Thoughts please!
