I just want a reliable pivot steer telescopic loader with preferably less than 6000 hours. We have a JCB dealer relatively close and obviously being in France Manitou are popular (but pivot steer is very rare) also a Deici dealer in the department but doubt a second hand one would be available and new is out of our sensible new price range.
Our poor old Matbro is feeling her age, other than the usual oil leaks etc today it has lost hydraulic pressure and become even slower than usual. I have a nasty suspicion that the pump is past its best. I have found that although not in stock it can be obtained from White House products for a relatively reasonable £1000 ish. My plan will be to repair the Matbro and stand it down to a more part time role. My quandary is what to replace it with. We don’t want to spend 60+k and aren’t fussed about it being too shiny. I liked the John Deere 3800 when they were made but I guess they are now nearly as ancient as my old Matbro. Thoughts please!
