MATT BAKER'S FARMING PROGRAMME

I know we're turning into a nation of soft Cotton Wool Nancys, but PTO shafts that aren't covered are a pet hate of mine and I've probably offended plenty of people by telling them how annoyed it makes me to see one.

One of my lecturers told us to remember
540RPM ÷ 60sec = 9revs/sec
9 x 3 (1 drawbar/TL +2 lift arms) = you hitting your head 27 times per second.

1000rpm = 48 times

He also said that if you only grease one part of a machine, make sure it's those little pointless greesers on the shaft cover.
