depends on ground speed, too fast churning max rate on could break the plastic sprockets, also how many meters of drill per feed unit?

Sorry I should of said. It’s one metering unit on a 4m combi and it’s land wheel drive. Speed won’t be any more than 4-5km/hr as it’s rough hence the combi being used.

We’ve got something wrong then as it won’t put out anymore than 225kg/ha. Seed heads all clean, no blockages. Air flow is good. Even seed distribution out of the coulters.

It's not on half speed is it? Red gear slides out and in.

Why not open fully on the scale and calibrate the drill and compare with the chart on the hopper or get the kvernland app mine says 387kgha at 110 on the scale

Have done that and it’s 225kg max. There’s no sticker as it’s about 25 years old a rarely used.

So how much are you collecting and what does the clock say at calibration?

Clock doesn’t work I’m afraid so we are just doing the set number of turns and then multiplying. But go drilling and on the RTK steering system it’s working out at 225kg as well off the area measured. It’s as if physically it won’t discharge any more than 225kg/ha but as said it’s rarely used and generally would of been used at 150kg/ha so it may of always been like this and we’ve never known.
