Maximum Roundup Interval time for Barley

Hi, just wondering what’s the maximum interval time people have left their winter barley after spraying with roundup before harvesting it.
We applied roundup to our winter barley just over two weeks ago. We’ve tested the moisture today and it’s still too high due to this crappy weather we’re having. Just wondering how much longer it’ll go for

It will go as long as you want but the heads will probably snap off

Whereabouts are you.
Ours has been dessicated 2 weeks ago.
Had a go yesterday. Barley fit, the wheat volunteers not.
The ton I did cut was horrendously wet. That has now been crimped and mixed.

I’ve left it 3 weeks before will no problems, I’m not sure I would like to leave it much longer as heads will start to drop off

Had a tankful yesterday after a combine repair, 18% and I'm guessing damper today as it drizzled on/off all morning. No Glypho applied

Two weeks is barley enough to do any good. Three weeks minimum. I've done some after five weeks and it was proper ready to go.

At the risk of being shot down, if youre only leaving it two weeks, the only benefit you are likely to get is from pushing any greens in the tramlines to the ground.

Yeah the roundup we used says 7 days minimum. Ok I’m feeling a little more reassured that we can leave it a little longer. Fingers crossed the weather takes a turn for the better

No arguments there. Just legally can go after a week.

My application was time to get the wheat volunteers dead as the barley would had become fit.......wheat still not dead, 2 weeks on

I've got 2 fields that I want to put enhanced over wintered stubble , problem is no desiccation , that's a pita , the fields are full of shite
