Mower going tomorrow might get hay hopefully otherwise will wrapp it
Did you crash?Mowing as I write
I agree leaf starts to dry quicker, but the last bit of moisture out of leafy grass is slow to come out.But it's leaf, not stem, leaf dries easy, stem doesn't
In your part maybe, here pretty much any hay was making £30 for a 4x4 since early in the year.If hays not green when it comes out of the shed it's more or less worthless
Better off push it in the corner and burn it

There's a market for all sorts of hay , you just need to adapt.
Supplying the bottom feeders is a heartbreaking job, however.

A lightish crop of a herbal ley, probably make wrapped haylage out of it. Mowed this afternoon
You would say thatLooks good Tom.
That's my mix is it well I never no wonder it looks goodYou would say that
It's the mix you sold me last spring, so 12 months old. We grazed it last autumn and are now cutting. I'd have liked to have cut it last week for some rocket fuel haylage but, after months and months of dry, it rained! Wasn't complaining too much though
most hay is better than a snowball in the winterIf hays not green when it comes out of the shed it's more or less worthless

We'll have a hot dry June this time [emoji849]
