Why is the PTO switch such a pile of sh!t?
Tried a new switch, still does the same.
You might get in the tractor and it works straight away, another day you might be trying it for 30 mins, all it does is keep flashing when you try to engage it. Last night i had all the cattle to feed and it would not engage, in the end i had to change tractors before i took a hammer to it. My problem is, why does it work sometimes, surly something either works or it does,nt. This morning i jumped in the tractor to see if it would work, the fu#cking worked 1st time, bring back a simple lever thats either in or out, mcormick don,t do electrics, not thats any good.

Did you not maybe think that perhaps the switch isn't the problem? Could be an alternator problem and/or the idle speed has to be above a certain revs before the PTO will engage,afaik...
