Mc hale fusion 2 wrapping issues

Has anyone had any intermittent with a fusion 2 wrapper? Itll be working fine one minute, and the next, it’s saying the wrap has broken when the wrap is still working away fine. Few bales later and it works perfect. Any suggestions?

Batteries likely failing in one of the sender units.

As said above, run it with the sensors turned off for a field or two if you have a camera ,

When you say sender units? Are they in the black boxes on the wrap dispensers ? Ones marked E and other is O?

Yes that’s them, and you turn off the bale wrap sensors in the control box menu. You need to change the two senders attached to the stretchers on the wrapper after so long as they have a finite lifespan. Best replace them both at once and there is a method of doing this so they recognise the fusion and work correctly.

How do you turn the sensors off?

On a fusion 2 its in the settings, its simplw if i had the box to hand,

Could also check what’s being read by pulling some wrap through by hand and watch the receiving antenna Red light flash.

Thanks very much. I replaced both sensors two years ago. Will try the batteries first.

Would have expected at least 3 years from a set, but if you turn them off & it works then that's the problem.
