I always fancied one of these when they came out. Never actually seen one in real life. What experiment are you planning?

Basically what I want to do is try the direct drilling route in our cover crop on land that can go extremely hard and dry out. Therefore we need a leading leg mini subsoiler ahead of the seeder coulter. And the seederator seemed about the easiest thing to try it with. Really like the mzuri but not the price !!

Think the seederator has had production discontinued. Neighbour demoed one a few years ago, then bought a mzuri. You could consider a mounted mzuri, which they still make. Sometimes see used ones for sale.

My experience after trying one for a few days, was they do not like any trash !! Good on hard ground with straw removed. OK into cultivated ground. But rubbish into chopped straw after a big crop of wheat. I would not recommend it into cover crops (flailing them may help !)). I also had issues with the metering system when drilling beans.
So I bought a Claydon instead..... plenty of those around secondhand.

Thank you for the advice - might have to look at a Claydon instead. Ours would be into ground with chopped straw so I will have to think again.
