No the strainer is only sold as a pump assembly but the chances are the pump may be damaged when you look at it if it has had things go through it with not having the strainer on it.

Too ridiculous. To buy the filter, buy a hydraulic pump :( argo tractors like jokes:)

I think this is the part you are after, I could probably post it out if you are struggling to get one and your current pump is in good order. The one I changed was in average condition and it hadn’t had any of the filter through it, so double check yours. No point having a filter if pump is knackered.

As far as I know it's exactly the same it's just the pump that is different. A syncro transmission has a smaller pump compared to the xtrashift transmission ones that are bigger for increased internal lubrication.

I understand... Can I fit another strainer? Does it have to be the same?

@McCman Today I pulled the pump. The strainer has fallen and some of it has been torn. unfortunately the transfer pump is cracked. I ordered the new one. I have not decided on the glue for the strainer yet. I do not want the strainer to fall again. Did the parts clog the oil ways? Will the tractor move after I have installed the new pump? are there ways to clear the fat channels?

I guessed this was going to be the outcome, I haven't seen any problems relating to bits going down the pipes as I think they maybe don't get through the pump and it just blocks up 1st. If they did you would not get access to them anyway without stripping the whole box down.

new pump smaller than before. i did not attach it. Why is the pump small? Is this piece wrong? Do I have to attach it? or should I find the big pump.

The new pump you have is for a syncro transmission not an xtrashift as it needs less lubrication so smaller pump. You definitely need the proper one else you will have other problems once it's up and running again.

yes I guess so. the seller said it would not be a problem to use it. but I returned it. I'll find the one for xtrashift. I found the part code : 600195A2 This should be the right part... I do not want the strainer to fall again, please help me.. the adhesive may deteriorate in the oil after a while. It's a very expensive and difficult job.

If you order a new pump it should come with the strainer i'd have thought, at least the one I ordered from CASE IH did. That's how I ended up with a spare strainer.
Yes I ordered a new pump. the filter comes with the new pump... I hope the filter will not fall again after a while.
