McCormick cx arm position sensor

The arms have stopped going up as high as normal on my cx and now won't move at all. It's showing a fault that it's above the top position when it's about half way. Looked online for a sensor and can't find one to buy, do these fail often or am i looking in the wrong place

What symbol is the error code? Under the right hand rock arm you will find a Z linkage going to the position sensor check this is still intact and has a slight bit of play in to make sure its free to move.

Hi. The sensor was moving freely, the error code is just a dash through the middle of the 8 if that makes sense

Error code changed to an H new sensor ordered. Does anyone know the calibration procedure? It's an 03.
