Agg profits are a bit shyt I’d have thought something built out of good parts like zf and fpt that was a bit cheaper would fly off the shelf !

The boys selling them, and their mechanics are the best in the borders ( in my opinion) !

The apprentice is my boy cracking little team he’s a lucky lad to be learning his trade off them fellas .

They do look an impressive bit of kit, It was very noticeable how much attention they were getting at Cereals.

If McCormick keep improving the way they have last few years they will gain a lot of ground .

We had demo of this last weekend for silage, to be honest I only got to drive it taking it back to dealer but first impression I thought it looks fantastic, some say they would have the grill black but triviality imo , first time I’ve driven a VT and thought it great, sorry I can’t give a more in-depth review but like I say I only drove it home. When they get their new workshop at the road end their I think they will do very well exiting times ahead for them I’d say .

Yes so would I .

No experience of newer models, however we run an older xtx alongside a 64 series massey in the quarry, and every one prefers the McCormick to drive. Has a nicer cab, far superior cab and front suspension and is easy to operate. Sadly this older model is let down by its power hungry chocolate transmission, but dealer backup has been second to none over the years.

I wouldn’t be scared of a new on at all now its got a proven transmission

I wouldnt be a bit scared of 1. They are made with good stuf from the zf tranny and the fpt engine. People are just scared to give them a chance but there would be nothin wrong way 1

Great Walls were made of good stuff too......

Any company can throw big brand names like Cummins, Bosch, ZF or whatever around, the rest of the machine is just as important and is what brings it all together and makes it last. Time will tell.

The lower end of the new McC range has a strange, cheap look about it. Like a Solis.

You didn’t like the valtra either , you wouldn’t know a good tractor if you seen one .

They won’t be for everyone for sure but it’s nice to see them getting a few out and about,

Have u had a shot of the deici telehandler the boys sell?
They have offered me a test drive of one, if it’s got a seat that ain’t propped up with a block of wood, and any air con, it’ll get my vote !

Yes I had one last year , no complaints , but the apprentice wants me to get the pivot steer but my merlo has plenty life yet .

What didn't you like

noise in the cab
seat would not go back for a tall person
finish in side the cab
gearbox is not a vario
had a cheap plastic feel about it .
