mcdonolds chicken nuget face mask

Don't believe everything you read.

Especially if there's a compo claim around
Wouldn’t disagree with your thoughts but according to the article there was another nugget in the box with face mask baked into it. Hard to prove anything with a chewed up nugget/face mask but an untouched one baked in would take a bit of faking.
No doubt the matter will be investigated.

Bit like the rat bones found in curry, big pinch of salt required.
Wouldn't shock me - local Chinese got done for using baby seagulls off the roof of their shop. A mate of mine also takes any old ropey poultry in to the Chinese near him and swaps it for a meal. Another take away near here got shut down by food inspectors for having half a dog in the freezer.

Legend has it Some local
Lads found a dead cat on the side of the street one Saturday night. They picked it up, walked into the Chinese, pushed to the front of the que, slapped it down on the counter and said at the top of their voice, ‘ and that’s the last your getting until you’ve paid for the others’.............the guy who told me swears it’s a true story as he was there..............although he wouldn’t confess to being the one who’d picked up the dead cat.

mcdonolds chicken comes from thailand

Which is precisely why the whole 'produced to our standards' thing re a US trade deal is a waste of time, we already import food from all around the world for 101 reasons that have nothing to do with welfare standards, cheap labour being a principal one.

I can't remember the last time I had a meat dish from a takeaway. Having spent many years collecting the waste from round the back of restaurants, and seeing the foreign writing on the meat boxes with the only word I understood being 'halal', I stick to a vegetable balti.

Suggest you need to expand your gegraphic horizons then. Local Indian takeaway (excellent food) gets meat from local abattoir who get from local farmers. Can't speak for all food outlets, but plenty do very good stuff.

I am afraid the use of Thai chicken does not just apply to local takeaways, huge numbers of the main stream and top end restaurants rely for the bulk of their menu, on mass production facilities which purchase from the cheapest supplier.

mcdonolds chicken comes from thailand
they need pressuring into sourcing uk chicken grown with uk grain
The vast majority (i.e. the high 90's %) comes from the UK. If I remember rightly the country that supplies the second highest amount is Brazil or Netherlands with Thailand a low fourth.
McDonalds have said that they would gladly have 100% British chicken if there was guaranteed supply.

@New holland They are now made in the Cargill plant at Wolverhampton.

One of our local Chinese restaurants is in what used to be a pet shop!

Mother said it was "disgusting"! Was that the nugget or the facemask?
After a Saturday night on the beer I used to call by at a kebab shop in town for chicken nuggets and chips, they were the best in town.

One night I’d been off somewhere and driving home late felt a bit peckish so called by for some chicken nuggets and chips, I didn’t finish them and I never went back.😂
