Sorry to resurrect this thread!

I Have a 2013 5500 13500 bales on the clock, looking to upgrade for a new one
.
whats it worth? I've been given a price to change but not the new price of a machine! so not sure really how much im given for the PX

if you were spec 'ing' a new 5500 what would you want on yours?

there are no brakes on my current one and on the hills here it's a must especially when using the smaller tractors

Secretly i want a fusion, but TBH I wouldnt be able to pull it up the hills here! some places in the wrong conditions we struggle with the 5500

Depending on the spec a new f5500 is 28-29k mine was 28500 with crop roller and the bigger wheel option this should help you to work out what hes giving you for yours. With a bale count like that you have a very saleable machine so they should offer good money

That’s a low workload but I’d expect you be charged around £1 per bale to change.

Last summer there were one or two F5500 in dealers yards between £26.8 - £27.5k.

I think I the cheaper one was an older stock model but the latter was in the dealers yard last August.

However bought a Kuhn.
What advantages did you see in the Kuhn?

Did they get a price hike this year?
