McHale fusion 1

Hi all, need some help from people who have had a fusion 1
Have purchased a fusion 1 with 9000 bale count very tidy unit.
Baling good quality ryegrass and just as chamber density gets to green the drive chain to top chamber starts to load up and bale stalls.
Chain in good condition and all rollers spin free.
Looks like bale is pushing on 150mm plate that guides in net wrap.
Ideas?

Drive chain just starts to jump, have tension spring adjusted up way past the maximum
If the bale stops turning thar puts alot of pressure on the chains and sprockets.
Had similar on a fusion 3 a couple years ago, the bale would just nor spin in some really dry hay so we welded some 4mm solid bar on the bottom roller to grip the bake. Went back to the same field and baled it fine. The original bars had worn down and lost the gripping edge. Might be worth looking at the bottom roller

Maybe pull the covers/lids off the top part of the chamber and check they're not chock full of old grass dust and stuff.
It's a row of bolts around the edge and pry them free, if those are packed full then it gives quite a lot of braking force to all those rollers.

However if the tensioner is that far out then the chain is stretched

Can’t imagine chain is jumping over all roller sprockets
It will probably just be jumping over one which has jammed
Identify which roller is jamming and ascertain reason

I have seen a few balersthat have broke the roller bearing housing bolts on the top roller on the fixed part of the chamber .
Movement of this roller when the pressure comes on could jam against roller in top door?

Just because the chain is tight doesn't mean it isn't stretched and not sitting down in the sprocket teeth properly. When it's under load it will jump

There not a good baler for very dry stuff
Bales like to stop turning in chamber. Could be a cracked roller or grass getting jammed in between rollers

Thanks for the replies. The actual bale count is 8700.
Changed the top chain and counted the links to check it wasn't a few out as wasn't stretched at all. Was 20 out, so checked the correct chain installation and was fitted wrong!! Who knows how long it has been like this in its previous life. The drive sprocket has been replaced so I'm assuming it's been a while

I hate burst your bubble but it wouldn't have needed chains and sprockets messed with or changed with that amount of use. There's a battery in the controller on the wrappers that keeps the lifetime count going. If it fails it goes back to zero. Could easily be another zero on the counter as well
