My local contractor has one doing about 30 k bales a year , and no complaints , it's very fast too.We are thinking of changing our hs2000 for a new orbital wrapper. Is there anyone on here running one? If so what do you think of it?
Thanks.

I just know he had a small bit of bother with the hs , but has no trouble with the new machineIs the cut and hold system better than the hs you think, we get a bit of trouble sometimes with ours
we have had an Orbita for 2 years had a few small problems but all sorted by Farol or McHale very quick machine our biggest gripe is it does not like misshapen bales as anything out of shape can play you up a bit. a well built strong wrapperWe are thinking of changing our hs2000 for a new orbital wrapper. I’ll second that would definitely have the Tanco 1400v over the mchale. Bought 1400v last year to replace 1400eh. Had some teething problems as it was new model but in fairness to Tanco they stood by it 100% and new ones have all modifications done now. Friend of mine bought orbital and had awful trouble if baling wet grass and wrapper not straight behind the Baler. Bales would just sit between the rollers

I would second that, if not quite perfectly square going onto the table the auto computer will reject it, put it down but still commence wrapping...... Coming from an old cable Kevernland wrapper the computer took me about 2 hours to get my head around. It is also a big bit of kit for what is only a wrapper. Best feature, and this may come with other machines is the ability to roll the bale after cutting the wrap so that the layers are pressed tighter together, I do this for 20 seconds and on filming for 20 secs. If you were not to roll you could keep up with two balers, but as said the bales and crop do need to be right. Not cheap at a bit under £19k mind.
