Currently looking for a new rake for next summer. Anybody any experience with the mchale range?

Do they follow un even ground well enough? And leave a nice even row for a round baler?

Was trying to buy one this year but couldn't due to next to none available. Heard of the one locally having a few issues. Ended up with a claas liner 2800 and very happy with it.

We have the bigger one and have got on well with it. We have had a few teething problems which have been/being sorted and there are one on two small design problems (more thoughtlessness than anything) the row it leaves is better than a Claas which we ran before. It is very well built, follows well behind the tractor in the field and on the road and has an adjustable cam which is good. It is more for a baler but we have raked in front of a harvester and the driver said it was a better row than a Claas too. PM me if you want any more details.

We have the smaller model Mchale rake
Very pleased with it , built like a tank , handles very well behind the tractor in the field and on the road. Did have a couple of teething problems but mchale and dealer were great and sorted everything out and did several upgrades we hadn’t even thought of. Would definitely buy another and recommend it. Great in very small hilly fields , row up mainly for a baler but also did some for a self propelled forager. Everything is very easy to adjust and alter . Great piece of kit!
