Put some sauce on the cardboard box taste better!
Like, duh.I would hazard a guess that this drive for plant-based product is because if the meat component is removed the profit margin is much much higher than it would otherwise be. If you look at a horsemeat lasagne the actual meat component is virtually zero to begin with, just a snifter of it, the bulk is cream, cheese or pasta etc. Get rid of the animal meat- make more money??
They do want to eat meat that why they try to buy stuff that tastes like meat then they can eat that and virtue signalOk ok so some folks don’t wanna eat meat, Not a problem, but why not cut the middle man and the processing out and eat some good quality fruit and veg instead?
im sure it’s gotta be better for the environment than the processed plant based bacon crap?
HopefullyThey can eat what they like, as for me il just eat the real thing. Think ud be doin yourself less harm smokin 40 a day and eatin proper food than eatin that shite. Its a bit of a new fad and itl pass just the same as all the other new things thats came and went in years past

We used to get stock feed from them for our pigs . Now you can bypass the pigs for remanufactured potato protein. Modern Life really is rubbish. If you were needing plant protein wouldn't there be better things than taties to get it from
What's their protein content 1%? 1.5%?
Same as quorn, designed for animals, now sold to vegans. £££££££We used to get stock feed from them for our pigs . Now you can bypass the pigs for remanufactured potato protein. Modern Life really is rubbish.
Good ingredients processing factory. The feedstock is not really the point (except, as others have said, spuds have extremely low protein content so are a nonsense source. This factory is clearly more about producing processed starch derivatives).Everyone is at it.Branston starts work on GBP 6m Potato Protein Extraction Facility
