Which sprayers run mechanical driven axles? Thinking something lightweight (3000 litres 24m) rather than anything to big.
Single centre hydraulic motor driving mechanical axles iirc. Perfect combination for simplicity and variable speed at optimum revs.Bargram.
Did you read the thread title? There is another contender from Italy that fits into the lightweight 3000 litre category at under 6000kg but it’s not mechanical drive. Caffini have the Rider model which can have up to a 28m boom fitted and has Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic drive, I’ve seen the videos of what ground conditions they tested it in, if it can get through them it’ll travel anywhere!

Could suggest any number of hydrostatic drive machines.
Classified section for adverts.Yes I did thank you but I posted it just for comparison as I know a lot of people consider hydrostatics to be heavy, that machine is not and is in fact lighter than several of the mechanical drive options if it was the weight side of things that’s the concern.
Or depends how old you want to go, I’ve now got a breeding pair of Clayton buggies,Multidrive

One wheel in a wet hole on a hydro drive and your stuck no diff locksClassified section for adverts.
As far as I'm aware some people don't want hydrostatic because of cost of replacement wheel motors.
