It does look like we may end up with a high percentage of folk jabbed eventually.
No virus in the South Island anyway
The North & South islands are separated with a lockdown? No flights coming in to the South Island?

There is but all the cases are in Auckland and you're not allowed to travel out of there unless you're an essential worker and from today they are requiring tests to get out of the area I think. Some have managed to escape though and later been dobbed in online and tracked down by the cops, you'd think they were murderers or child molesters the way the media has hunted them down and put their names out there. The North & South islands are separated with a lockdown? Wouldn't agree with the quote. We've got them here, all it shows is you've had 2 jabs. It doesn't stop you carrying it or spreading it although you're less likely to. (Also shows if you've had a negative test) It's a tool to get people to get vaccinated as you can do very little without it.Blair has opened his gob again and wants domestic passports. This doesn't make sense to me:
“They are the only tool that allows us to show that those who have the virus and need to stay at home actually are at home, and that those who are free of the virus are able to move around freely.”
Tony Blair calls for vaccine passports to prevent another lockdown
Former Prime Minister says Covid passports have boosted vaccine uptake and helped control the virus in Europewww.telegraph.co.uk
Is this his stab at getting ID cards?
I get international vaccine passports because there is precedent. Domestic ones, I can't get my head around. Are ID's and vaccination status linked in France?Wouldn't agree with the quote. I don't understand why people are against ID cards. They prove who you are and your right to be there. They'd help fight illegal immigration.
You can't work here without one. Employ an illegal and you're in as much trouble as them.
What precedent is there for needing a vaccine to go to another country against a virus that is endemic in both countries?I get international vaccine passports because there is precedent. Domestic ones, I can't get my head around. Are ID's and vaccination status linked in France?
You knew what I meant.[QU

Same precedent that shopkeepers will use here to stop people entering.[QU

Yes, I know what you meant, just pointing out that this is completely different to anything gone before. You knew what I meant.
Not as such. But my ID card proves im the person on the vaccine passport.I get international vaccine passports because there is precedent. Domestic ones, I can't get my head around. Are ID's and vaccination status linked in France?
Exactly that. You're the wrong person to ask, but to others; is it justified?Yes, I know what you meant, just pointing out that this is completely different to anything gone before.
There is no precedent, the vaccine passports are there simply to coerce people to get vaccinated and punish them if they don't...

It's unprecedented for citizens of this country you would agree? Not unusual. A Tanzanian won't get into Kenya without the yellow fever jab.
I've flown from Kenya to Tz and needed to show it, and I'm a British citizen. It's unprecedented for citizens of this country you would agree?
Serves no purpose in terms of control of virus?
Yellow fever not endemic hereI've flown from Kenya to Tz and needed to show it, and I'm a British citizen.
He reason we do not need vaccine passports is that most people have now got anti bodies to covid
theave tier bed vaccinated giving antibodies or have had covid giving them antibodies
with the delta variants tranmisability and infectability i is now certain that we will all come into contact with covid
any one unvaccinated now is playing Russian roulette with their live however low they perceive their risk it is much higher than if they were vaccinated
would you play russian roulette with a 300 chambered gun knowing one bullet was in it
without vaccination we would now be in lockdown fatigue hundreds of thousands deaths and overloaded hospital
then we would have fear of mixing and all the economic implications
the 4 to 5 waves of covid would have been devastating
