I presume there is one out there that is useful? Are there ones available that somehow link to bcms for tag numbers and if you ut in the medicine used it automatically works out the withdrawl periods. There's got to be an easier way.
anyones experience would be great.

I use Shearwells Stock Move Express. Saved me hours not having to fill in medicine book later. Less mistakes reporting bcms births as well as do it when tagging calf. Dad can even use it... sort of.

I think I've asked this question before, did one of the apps work with Fulwood crystal?
I know someone who has problems with getting crystal and uniform to speak to each other, however, apparently uniform will do most of the things that crystal can, like running in parlour feeders.
Personally have tried herdwatch and the shear well app, neither impressed me much, just as well scribble it down in a book

Crystal is a pain I have yet to work out how to get it talk to any other apps, expect by downloading text files and importing to other program. Would love a solution, as have crystal running parlour ( milk yields and feeding etc) afifarm on separate computer doing activity measurements, sumit for milk recording data from qmms and farm metrics for medicine book. It drives me mad having to enter calving, drying off etc on the multiple systems. Though farm metrics is good as medicine book, it was part arla360 assurance scheme so not sure if you can get it separately.

Yes the only reason I would go into crystal now is to use the sort gate, milk yields etc are all on uniform it connects after each milking
Do you use Uniform to do the in parlour feeding? We have recently moved from Interherd to Uniform, but have left the feeding on Crystal. The helpdesk seem a little nervous of doing it in Uniform, and there is very little information. The biggest fault we have found with Uniform is the lack of a manual, and very sparse help system, so you have to phone the helpdesk for every little query.

I don’t feed so couldn’t possibly comment, but the way I’ve learned most of it is on YouTube there is about 50 videos on different sections of it very helpful

I have watched several of the videos, but having 50 to check through to find what you want is not ideal! Otherwise, very pleased with the program. Interherd was getting too long in the tooth and crashing often on Win 10

It certainly helps with farm assurance. They now have a farm assurance module which can give you all the cow data needed for a visit (Provided you have entered it in the first place)
