Mengele SH30 New Blades

Any tips for replacing the blades on our old SH30. Got nine new blades from @Will 1594 just need to get one more.

Have wound the drum right back and removed the lid and sharpening stone. Got first blade off easily enough (heated nuts). Was planning to just work round fitting new ones as I go. Leaving small adjuster bolts as they are.

What about the shearbar? How do I know if it is done or not. I did turn it a couple of years ago.

Sharpening stone still looks ok to me- are you supposed to check them with a straight edge?

It only chops about 60ac in total per year.

Anyone know how to tell how old the machine is from its machine number- 134 651

@mengeleguru .kenny he will have blades. Might cost you for professional advice. He knows them inside out and every way posdible

I have got blades,side cutters & a shear bar

Yours was built in 1982.

Stone should be flat & if there is enough on it we ca re cut it flat again
