We bought a merlo 32.6 this summer and since its started to get colder we noticed the cab heater doesn't work. Had the matrix out and its clear, the pipes are clear and the valve is opening and shutting, after a lot messing about trying to get the air out the system, the pipes at the matrix are getting warm/hot but it's still only blowing slightly warmer than cold air. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Do the pipes from engine run in a particular manner that would be prone to an airlock?

Can you slacken a pipe at the heater and run the engine at 1500-2000rpm to force out any trapped air?

Not sure, they run down to the bottom of the machine and back up to the matrix. I'll give that a try and see what happens, thanks
