I have a huge passion for history and I am looking for land to metal detect anywhere in central Scotland as I am based in Falkirk but I am willing to travel. My father in law owns a dairy farm in the Falkirk area so i am well clued up on the dos and don'ts around the farm. I am also fully insured through the NCMD (National council for metal detecting) with a number of years of experience as well. Most finds you tend to find are Victorian/Georgian era coins and buttons but you never know what is under the ground. i will be transparent and show you everything I find. i have built up good relationship's with farmers in the past being this way. any finds of national importance would be reported to the treasure trove (if i am that lucky). in the past, i have found lots of interesting artefacts from medieval coins and artefacts to gold and silver jewellery.
even if you are looking for lost items out in the field such as tools or jewellery, i am willing to come out and help
