Metal detecting

Hello.

Firstly I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Jake Roy I'm 22 years old new to detecting.

I've currently been to a couple of forests to get the hang of my metal detector. I've found a few things that have interested me while I have been detecting.

I'm very interested in going on to some fields, I know myself I need permission to go on to any farmers fields. So this is my message to you to ask for permission to detect on your land as I'm very interested to see what I may find.

I'm happy to share what i find, I'm happy to show you what I find also. The digs I will be doing is just myself no big groups. There may be just me or there might be one other but no more than two.

I am licensed to do the detecting, I have a card to prove to you.

If you are willing to let me on your land I would be more than grateful.

Thank you. Jake Roy

Can you not get permission from the same folk who gave you permission in the forests?

You did have permission for the forest I assume?

You are not "licenced" what you have is public liability insurance provided by the NCMD or FID.

Although licencing wouldn`t be a bad thing in my humble.
