I am posting this to ask if anyone has any fields that you would consider me and my 9 year old son to go metal detecting on. I recently bought one for me and him and have realised you aren't allowed to metal detect anywhere without permission. We have lived it Nailsworth (south gloucestershire) our whole lives and want to spend a day treasure hunting. If in the event that anything is found going by what i have read we go 50/50.
