Metal strainers and gate posts into rock

A couple of strong guys can carry a portable petrol generator, then drill into the rock and bolt on a pre-manufactured steel strainer, something your local metal shop could make up. A length of H section with a flat plate on the bottom. For extra strength, support that with a mini strainer a couple of metres away with bracing and a tensioning wire. I suppose it depends how strong it needs to be. Plenty of solid metal strainers still in use that were bedded in a hole in rock with lead tamped in to secure it, then a strut secured in the same way. Modern masonry drills will go through most rock like a knife through butter.

Thats the stuff the north devon boys used on the steep bits for rabbits,
tie a stick to bunny, light fuse and send bunny down hole.
the plan , i am told was working, but bunny did not like the fumes from the fuse and came back out for some air
Those boys down Brayford way get up to all sorts, looks like that time it back fired on them...........

The AHDB Planting and Variety Survey provides the earliest view of the planted area for the upcoming harvest in the United Kingdom (UK).

Complete the Planting and Variety Survey

The survey will estimate the area of cereals and oilseed rape intended for harvest in 2022 in the UK. It aims to assess the varietal composition of wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape crops in the UK. The results of this survey will allow the industry to quantify domestic production, at a time when food security is more important than ever.
The information can be used to shape the domestic market and trade and assist levy payers in their marketing decisions. It will detail regional differences of cropping across the UK, which will help...
