Selling because i have some contact drilling where the farmer doesn't like the wide spacing and narrow band.
So have gone to a leg where you can swop openers to a bigger width band.
They work well we have just cut spring beans that were drilled with them at over 2t ac and never suffered from the drought.

Have you ever drilled wheat with them and can comment on yield? I’ve got a sprinter coming (should have been here august but that’s another story) so definitely interested if/when it turns up. Have you a photo?

Drilled wheat with them kerin after osr did 4t .before the weather broke 19 sep .what was drilled after that was not as good but they did look well before the drought hit.spring barley did 3t
Cost £79 new.

I don’t suppose anyone has a rough price for the replacement point?
The replacement tips are circa £40 each.
I run them on a seedhawk so have 2 tines per coulter. In terms of wear I am getting 3000acres from the front tine and 6000 acres from the rear one. The drill is 8m and 2/3 of the area is heavy, and a third is sand/gravel
