If it was built to use in peat bogs I would fear for the transmission survival if it was ever given hard work on decent soil. It is a neat looking conversion though, anyone know who made the tracks and running gear for them?

It looks like the back axle has been moved back a bit , It would be a very LWB wheeled one ! as mentioned above there was an article in Classic tractor a few years ago about someone who bought one and I think converted it back to wheels.

Its Nice though

This was the one that was in Classic Tractor.
The original conversion was done by Grays of Fetterangus in about 1980 for Neil Godsman of Newpitsligo to use on his peat operations.
He sold it in 1985 to White Moss Peat at Kirkby, who rebuilt it on a 1250 in the late nineties.
The tracks are Cantone, made for MF 100 series for rice paddys. The rear chassis was lengthened by 3 feet to accommodate the tracks so full steering lock could be retained.
