MF 3600 PTO Problem

Hi all,

My MF 3690 has developed a PTO problem. After 10-30 seconds after it has been engaged, the PTO stops turning. Yellow dash light remains on.

I have just fitted a new PTO speed sensor to try and solve the problem, but to no avail. Datatronic screen does show a reading when its turning.

I've also just had the Autotronic box repaired.

Any ideas what else to check?

I just wired mine direct to the solenoid when my 3690 did the same.
Any ideas what else to check?

Do you mean straight from the switch and bypass the Autotronic box?

Yes, but you lose the switch off protection bit if your revs drop etc but it doesn't matter for what we do.
