Hi, have a MF 5712 about 8months. 650 hours on it. Last week would not start. 5 hours later started no problem. Done a days work no problems.
Next morning would not start again. Was left for the day and that evening started no problem. Again this morning would not start. Just choosing when it wants to start. No lights on dash to give any indication that there is a problem. Anyone experience anything similar? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had similar with my 5713. Turned out to be a relay behind the right hand console inside the cab. Moisture had gotten on it and corroded it. Same happened to one a dealer in Dublin had in at the same time.

It only started last week when working in the mountains and using a very bumpy/rocky lane to get there. Would this tend to offset the clutch sensor or is the clutch sensor a common problem? Thanks
if as you say in post above its cranking over it shouldn't be cluch sensor as you have to depress the cluch when starting for it to turn over may be crank sensor for common rail fuel pump
