MF 590 power steering oil?

Hi Everyone,
Can't believe I can't find the answer on the internet but can anyone tell me what oil is suitable for an MF590 steering system? Also what capacity is the system as may as well do an oil change at the same time.
I'm trying to help a farmer friend prep it for sale. They are the second owner and it's been on the farm for decades. It's in nice condition if anyone is interested?
Many thanks
Pete

A lot of folks use ATF but whatever is in the engine will be fine. Might be a little heavier in the winter til it gets warmed up though. Either 15w40 or 10w30 super universal. (not UTTO) If you use the same as in the engine,if the front pump seal leaks,it'll only raise the oil level in the sump rather than contaminate it as well,as it would if using ATF.
Don't know the quantity though.

One just for you @bill and bens dad, not mine by the way.

Super Universal was the recommendation for those series of tractors. Engine, transmission and steering reservoir.
That was what was used on the farm I was on in the early 80s although they may have used a dedicated engine oil. The spec on the castrol site implies more of a transmission oil. I expect either will do.
