1. Farmers, growers, processors and industry representatives are being asked for their views from 31 August for 10 weeks on the role of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).

The AHDB is a UK statutory levy board, funded by farmers, growers and others in the supply chain. As we leave the EU, there is an opportunity to ensure that the sectors that the AHDB covers are as competitive as possible. This review will look at the AHDB’s purpose and priorities, its strengths and where improvements need to be made.

This is a joint 10-week exercise covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The request for views will close on 9 November.

Can anyone tell me if you can replace the solenoid on a 6180 starter motor?

Yes you can, it's pretty straight forward. For a 6170 it's partnumber 3901191M1. I guess it will be the same for a 6180.

No it shouldn't make any difference, here one just for reference click
Check and double check correct one, if its not an over the counter sale
Be careful of the round armature (round thing) running up the middle, try not to let it fall off the linkage at the front. Don't bother changing it. If you can do this, you can change it on the tractor, just disconnect the battery earth strap first.

It'll make a difference if you order a genuine mf solenoid based on your serial number only to find out from factory it had a lucas style starter or something:D
Bepco sell the iskra solenoids and internals if your in to rebuilding them.
