As above pulling load of hay home in hot weather when I stopped tractor it threw about a cupful of what looks like engine oil out underneath. Started her up again and no leak, any ideas?
Looks like back of engine where joins transmission

there is a drain hole between the engine and gearbox casting it could be coming from there . it could be coming either way . has it lost oil from either side ? its strange it dropped the oil out when stopped though

Yes done it twice now, doesn’t even drip when running but throws oil out the moment it stops. Dipsticks ok, engine a little high could that be the cause slightly overfilled?

just check the plate under the clutch where the feed pipes go in if it is a straight 4wd shaft the shaft rubs on the casting it could be coming from there . overfilling the engine wont cause it . its still very strange it only does it when stopped

This is no help to you but some years ago I had same problem with my dexta .... I had ran out of
15/40 so I topped it up with straight HD30 and the leak stopped
