Mf 6480 coolant leak

Got a small coolant leak on Perkins tier 3, it’s not loosing much but want to get it sorted before gets worse. The rad is wet at the very bottom but no sign of corrosion, are the 64/74 series known for springing leaks? Its hard to get a good look at rad what with the plastic top and bottom. I’ve checked the top hose to make sure it’s not dripping down but looks alright.
Thanks for any help

We had one on a 6480 t3 getting damp at bottom. Fitted new radiator. Sorted it.
That’s what it’s like just damp at the bottom but no sign of leak anywhere, hoping it would be just a cheap fix like split top hose or something but sounds like it’s a new rad

Don't think they are worth trying to repair due to being partly plastic.
By memory think it was where some foam type packing cause some corrosion to the core at bottom. Sounds similar to your problem. My tractor is 2008, and was repaired 3 or 4 years ago.

Replace the radiator rather than risking it developing in to a bigger leak when you can’t be without it. I don’t like rad weld products they can block smaller water ways like the heater matrix. The only proper way is to replace the leaking item imho

It must be under the plastic or inside between the cores because there’s no corrosion on the outside that I can see, I keep the rad nice and clean but its always the bottom that collects all the shite. Mines 2010 so time wise sounds about it’s due one
