MF 6480 front suspension

Mine seems to have lost its ability to work properly. It bangs down on the stops when changing direction and lifts to top of travel. Last year we got the accumulators repressurised which solved it for a few months but has got progressively worse. Been told that it needs a new hyd block at the axle but that's over £4k! Internal leak caused by a crack apparently. Anyone else had this problem?

Worse one i had was a valve to replace in that block on the perkins 6480 t3 & it was around £300 mind you it took massey 18months to sort the fact that all them front suspension units needed two accumulators to smooth things out.
All done under warranty at the time.
£4k for the rectangle block that cant be right surely? Am sure i heard it was £2k about 5 years ago

What was the valve causing to happen? List is just over 4k for a 2 accumulator block and 2800 for a 1 accumulator. Mine has two.

i moved the 1.7t front press on front links with nowt on rear linkage & mechanic told me that shouldnt have made any diff
but it only happened after then.
It wouldnt work as it should i think it just stayed in the off setting if you know what i mean.
Rep one screw in Valve job sorted. iam sure it was a £700 job tho.
The only money i spent on that tractor outside its 5yr warranty.
