I'd forgotten the 64's had that feature. My T7.210 doesn't. New ones have midmounts so you can leave the proper spools free.not exactley hard eh?but each to his own !! you can reach from the seat and turn the puh off ? but what do i know
You generally aren't using hydraulic puh and and hydraulic toplink at same time.Pickup hitch

Same as Hydraulic quick hitch on a digger. Old school didn't see the point in them at the start either because they didn't need to change buckets much, how many times does a digger man change buckets on a site job now in a day?I've never seen the need for hydraulic top links .do people really adjust them that mutch
how do you adjust length when hitching up .surely you need to hold the link in place so how do you operate the spool lever in the cab .Same as Hydraulic quick hitch on a digger. Hyd toplinks are useful from a safety aspect during hitch up all the way through to machine adjustment on the go.
Fender buttons if fitted, or set it long & lift the linkage on the fender buttons. Can also put spool in float & push pull by hand if no check valve fitted but that's a bit old skool these days I'd imagine.how do you adjust length when hitching up .surely you need to hold the link in place so how do you operate the spool lever in the cab .
we have electric spools but no fender buttons .do you adjust settings much .I've found with our big cultivation equipment they are not far out from plough xpress drill or power harrow maybe 1 or 2 turns difference
on the mfs with electric spools you can work them from outside combined with the hydraulic top link makes life easier,as already said once you have one you will wonder how you managed before lolwe have electric spools but no fender buttons .do you adjust settings much .I've found with our big cultivation equipment they are not far out from plough xpress drill or power harrow maybe 1 or 2 turns difference
both masseys but no buttons on the fenderson the mfs with electric spools you can work them from outside combined with the hydraulic top link makes life easier,as already said once you have one you will wonder how you managed before lol
on the back of the spool block you have the mechanical linkage (emergency use) just use them, its handy to let a trailor down etcboth masseys but no buttons on the fenders
Hi DaveI regularly do a 666-906mm Cat3/3 for £269, 12t lift, does this sound about right?
The waltershied on the fastrac is far too heavy, I reckon 80/90mm bore with a 40mm rod will be up to most jobs.. The hook end is heavy and weaker than a closed end and seems pointless, if you have buttons on the wings or like me, a lever on the spool that's easily reached. Manual top links were fine in the days of the mf35 but hopeless on modern big kit. I am buying everything possible with a frame brackets or converting them to this system and then the hyd top link is essential. They should be piped with 1/4 pipe, not 3/8.. much more bendy.I think a top link is heavy enough as it is. Ram and pipes can't make it better?
Hi, does the one off the 6490 fit the 6480?Hi Dave
Could also do with a hydraulic top link for our 6480- CAT 2 KNUCKLE tractor end and open claw cat 3 implement end-currently how much? Think I,ve had a top link for our 6490 of you last year.
