Hello,
Have a 6485 and got various wiring problems for the lights. The head lights, and right indicator works but everything else doesn’t.
The left indicators come on dim but on the dash the other side is registering that it’s working and it blows the fuse straight away.
The side lights front and rear don’t work, the cab lights don’t work and the hazard lights don’t work either.
We have swapped the relays to eliminate that and unplugged the lights on the rear out the back of the cab and unplugged the front indicator and sidelights ad that made no difference to fuses blowing.
I’m wondering wether it’s an earth fault as we can’t find any other fuses blown or relays not working when swapped. Is there a separate earth what does a lot of the lights which could be drawing power from the actual light.
many thanks
Mark

Have a look at the plugs inside the back mud wings , were the lights plug in to the loom.

@Speedstar we have had the cover off the rear mudguard and that looks good and clean. Which roof panel is it, is it the black one which surrounds the front cab roof lights? It’s strange how one indicator works but the other doesn’t and the side lights don’t work now either
